Grace Baptist is a gospel centered Christ focused body of believers. We are a church plant located in Dalton, PA and have determined to always maintain ourselves as a young and growing church plant. We do this for two reasons.

The first reason is to enable us to avoid the complacency and apathy that churches fall into after becoming comfortable in the cities and towns where they minister. We believe that the churches ministry should be constantly growing through the discipleship of it members and through the planting of new churches throughout our surrounding area.

The second reason is to keep us as a church focused on the basics. Jesus Christ, the gospel and loving each other need to be at the forefront of a churches ministry. However, too often the church gets distracted by what the world wants instead of maintaining focus on what the world needs

The American church has become inundated with pop-culture and postmodern ideas of God, worship, and the church’s position in the world. We simply believe that it the churches responsibility to share the gospel with the dying world and to disciple those who claim faith in Christ. Gimmicks and cultural relevance are not how people come to know Christ as their savior. It is simply the working of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures that brings someone to the understanding of the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ His son.

As a church plant we must continually remind ourselves of who we are, why we are and what we are to be doing. We are consistently going back to the basics to ensure that we are living as a church that God uses to share His love and the hope offered though Christ Jesus.
